Emergency Lights
|
Emergency lights enable the safe evacuation of staff and visitors in the event of power failure. It is therefore important to ensure there are sufficient lights in your building and they are in good working order.
BS5266 recommends a monthly function test carried out by the building occupier and an annual inspection/duration test carried out by a competent person as a suitable way of complying with the current standards, this will assist in meeting the requirements of the regulatory reform order. Hartwell safety services are competent to maintain emergency lighting systems. Our annual services includes a full duration test, charging indicator inspection and recommendations for remedial works or additional lights as needed. To minimise disruption to you and your staff this service can be arranged for 'out of hours'. |
